SUMMARY:WORKSHOP – SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS FOR ENERGY AND CLIMATE SOLUTIONS 2026
DESCRIPTION:The workshop aims to be a discussion forum for exploring current scientific and technological possibilities offered by sustainable materials for energy and climate purposes. Special attention will be given to new solutions based on concrete and cement-based materials. The workshop addresses complex issues with innovation potential at the interface of science\, environment\, technology and society. The workshop is economically supported by the Transborder Laboratory of Cooperation (LTC) Green Concrete and the projects NaturSeaPV (GA 101084348) and CSINC (GA 101223135)\, both funded by the European Commission. \n\n\n\n\nCO2 capture and Low CO2 binders\n\n\n\nThermal Energy Storage (TES) solutions\n\n\n\nPhase Change Materials\n\n\n\nFoamed Concrete\n\n\n\nComputational methods and design\n\n\n\nThermal characterization\n\n\n\nBatteries and electrochemical storage\n\n\n\nRadiative cooling\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVENUE\n\n\n\nThe workshop will take place in the Auditorium of the CFM CSIC-UPV/EHU. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCENTRO DE FÍSICA DE MATERIALES\n\n\n\nPaseo Manuel de Lardizabal\, 5 – E-20018 Donostia – San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa) – SpainPhone : (+34) 943 01 87 86 | Fax : (+34) 943 01 58 00 | E-mail:cfm@ehu.es \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCHAIRS\n\n\n\n\nJORGE S. SUMMARY:LTC GREEN CONCRETE INDUSTRY OPEN DAY
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on June 22nd 2022 as we are glad to announce you the launch of the 1st LTC GREEN CONCRETE INDUSTRY OPEN DAY\, where our researchers will present their latest research findings. \nThe initiative is a collaborative project between many research centres in the Basque Country and Bordeaux with a twofold mission: \n\nOn the one hand\, the LTC GREEN CONCRETE  will coordinate all the actions which are currently underway in the Euroregion Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra in the field of concrete and cementitious materials.\nOn the other hand\, the LTC GREEN CONCRETE aims to trigger the transfer of high technology & knowledge to companies through the establishment of a cooperative program with the industrial agents.\n\nThe 1st LTC GREEN CONCRETE INDUSTRY OPEN DAY will be held at the CFM headquarters (https://cfm.ehu.es/about-cfm/contact-location/ ) and there will be no fee for the registration. The costs of meals will be covered by the organization. \nFor registration and for more information\, please contact both: \nDr. Jorge S. Dolado (j.dolado@ehu.eus) and Dr. Cyril Aymonier (cyril.aymonier@icmcb.cnrs.fr).
