David García is a senior researcher, PhD in Materials Engineering by the University of Basque Country (Spain). He provides 15 years of experience on building materials research and project management. His current research interest is in the field of circular economy in construction, eco-innovative materials and products in building and civil applications with special emphasis on the development of cement-based products containing waste materials, low carbon cement and highly efficient building products. He is also experienced in structural strengthening with advanced composites (FRP and Textile Reinforced Mortars), life cycle assessment (LCA) and new BIM tools for selective demolition and C&DW management. He has been involved in several international research projects, being Coordinator Project Manager of HISER (GA642085) and ICEBERG (GA869336). He has published 12 indexed scientific papers, more than 30 conference papers and co-authored a book chapter over multi-criteria methods for decision making.
