Jacqueline Saliba

I2M

Jacqueline Saliba is an associate professor at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering (I2M), University of Bordeaux, France. She received her PHD from Centrale Nantes in 2012. Her current research projects are in the field of eco-friendly materials and circular economy. She has made significant contributions to the understanding of hydro-mechanical behavior of cementitious materials, the non-destructive evaluation of concrete, the multiscale modeling of heterogeneous materials and the valorisation of eco-materials considering their mechanical properties and durability (recycling of construction and demolition waste, sediments, vegetable fibers, earth concrete…). She published international journals with a H-Index of 13 (google scholar). She participated in several research projects such as the national project ENDE for the Non Destructive Evaluation of containment nuclear plants structures and the regional project VALOSED for the valorization of dredged sediments in Aquitaine region. She supervised more than 6 phd students. She was an elected member of the Scientific Council of I2M and is currently elected treasurer of the University Association of Civil Engineering.
