Dr. Marta Ocejo is a researcher, PhD in Chemistry from University of Basque Country (Spain). She has been working at Tecnalia since 2009.  She has been actively involved in many researcher projects related to sol-gel chemistry, synthesis, characterization, stabilization and reactivity of nanoparticles, nanostructured materials as aerogels, synthesis of aerogel precursors and related materials for energy efficiency in buildings. She has participated in related European projects like AEROCOINS, RESSEEPE, VEEP, ICEBERG. She is author of several scientific papers. Her current research interests include high insulation materials, valorisation of by-products for building applications, among others.
