Prof Nele de Belie (https://www.ugent.be/ea/structural-engineering/en/about-us/staff/debelie.htm), director of the Magnel-Vandepitte Laboratory for Structural Engineering and Building Materials of Ghent University is giving an on-line talk on the 12^th of December (10:30 CET) as part of LTC-Green Concrete activities.

Prof. de Belie has worked in many different areas within the concrete field such as development of self-healing concretes, sustainable concrete with supplementary cementitious materials, understanding of concrete/stone-microorganism interactions, concrete durability and circular economy and life cycle assessment. She will talk about her current research work and interests and later we will have a Q&A and discussion session.
